Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Open new personal banking accounts accurately and maintain existing customer account records.

Compensation and Benefits

• Compensation: $25 to $27 per hour.
• Job Type: Direct hire.
• Schedule: Open availability, including weekends, is required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Open and maintain personal banking accounts while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support customer service, account maintenance, and branch banking transactions.
• Recommend appropriate banking products and services based on customer needs.
• Conduct outbound customer calls to support sales, retention, and relationship-building efforts.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in bank teller, personal banking, retail banking, consumer banking, or a closely related financial services role.
• Strong knowledge of branch banking operations, account opening, customer service, and basic banking products.
• Ability to cross-sell products and services in a professional, needs-based manner.
• Excellent communication, listening, and customer relationship skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and follow-through.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to handle customer questions and concerns calmly and effectively.
• Availability to work an open schedule, including weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a personal banker or hybrid teller and banker role.
• Familiarity with consumer banking products, account maintenance, and customer retention activities.
• Prior experience making outbound customer calls in a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong interest in growing within branch banking, customer service, or financial services sales.
