Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Fund Servicing Analyst/Associate to manage trade instructions, settlements, and lifecycle events for bank loan assets within Fund Services.

You will collaborate with fund accounting, client services, fund managers, and agent banks to ensure seamless operations and exceptional client service. The role emphasizes handling loan life cycle events, reconciliations, and client relationships, requiring a finance or accounting background and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with at least 2 years' relevant work experience in bank debt or leveraged loan operations
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with team members and business partners
• Strong attention to detail with a control mindset, time management, planning skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities
• Demonstrates flexibility to accept new assignments in a rapidly changing environment
• Strong decision-making skills and initiative to raise issues to relevant parties when needed

Responsibilities

• Understand all aspects of Syndicated/Private loan or deal administration functions (including all funding)
• Be responsible for bank loan life cycle events including paydown, drawdown, interest rate resets, payment-in-kind calculations, delayed compensation accruals and trade settlements
• Understand all aspects of reconciliations (Position/stock and Cash)
• Develop knowledge of our client base and build relationships with Investment Managers and related third parties; work with clients to resolve queries and provide first level account service
• Create, maintain and update procedures for client-specific deliverables
• Review daily controls and communicate training or procedural changes to the team; ensure compliance with procedures and policies
• Ensure all scheduled work is completed by deadlines, signs off checklists, and files contain required documentation; collaborate to set goals and improve effectiveness
• Assist in testing and implementation of system enhancements as required
