Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior operational experience within the financial industry required.
• Item processing, proof, transit, or banking back-office operations experience required.
• Knowledge of FIS VisionIP required.
• Strong 10-key skills and accurate data entry ability required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong clerical, reading, writing, mathematical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collect, review, and organize information with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations.
• 1 to 3 years of related item processing or banking operations experience preferred based on role requirements.

Responsibilities

• Use FIS VisionIP to enter amounts and account information for items not read by the system.
• Balance transactions within daily processing runs and correct rejected or incomplete item fields.
• Identify coding errors, duplicate items, discrepancies, and transaction issues requiring adjustment.
• Prepare run files for transmission to clearing banks and the Federal Reserve.
• Respond to proof-related calls and emails from internal bank associates to help resolve processing issues.
• Receive courier deliveries for check processing and elevate operational concerns to management as needed.
