Job summary

You will manage operations, ensure compliance, and take ownership of complex servicing issues while promoting a culture of belonging and upholding the M&T Bank brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or four years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum two years of managerial experience or proven leadership abilities.
• Strong knowledge of business banking products and client relationship management.
• Experience in sales, business development and community outreach.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard PC software.

Responsibilities

• Direct sales and business development to achieve branch goals.
• Lead and coach staff, conduct performance discussions and staffing decisions.
• Identify customer needs and provide short and long term solutions.
• Proactively grow Business Banking relationships and community presence.
• Ensure compliance with policies, controls and regulatory standards.
• Handle complex account servicing and issue resolution.
• Oversee staffing, hiring, and onboarding per branch needs.
• Promote a culture of belonging and uphold M&T Bank brand.
