Job summary

United Overseas Bank Ltd is seeking a Bancassurance Specialist for the Central Region (City Area). The role delivers tailored financial advice to customers through the bank’s network and tele-consulting, aiming to meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining high professional standards.

Minimum Diploma with 2+ years of experience or a recognized University Degree is required; CMFAS Modules 5, 9, 9A, and HI are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma with 2+ years of relevant experience or a recognized University Degree (fresh graduates are welcome)
• CMFAS Modules 5, 9, 9A, and HI preferred
• Proven track record in sales performance and client engagement will be an advantage
• Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Actively understand customers’ financial needs and provide timely, accurate and appropriate financial advice aligned with their banking requirements
• Deliver financial advisory services to bank customers through the Bank’s network, tele-consulting and internal referrals, with the objective of meeting and exceeding individual sales targets
• Uphold a high standard of professionalism, diligence and integrity in all advisory interactions
• Ensure full compliance with the Bank’s internal policies, business processes and regulatory requirements, including proper documentation and advisory procedures
