Job summary

Dover Corporation's Ball Ground site is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead manufacturing, sourcing, planning, and the CES projects portfolio onsite in Ball Ground, Georgia. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement while championing Lean and OpEx initiatives.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure end-to-end ETO/MTO execution, manage P&L, and develop a high-performing team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial management, applied engineering, business, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 15 years in manufacturing/operations leadership with 10+ years in plant leadership in ETO/MTO environments.
• Strong ERP/MRP and data-driven decision-making experience; reads blueprints and understands Lean.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of Ball Ground manufacturing facility, including production, sourcing, materials, warehousing, planning, scheduling, and logistics for CES projects.
• Maintain a strong shop floor presence and respond to production issues and personnel needs.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives with a culture of continuous improvement and engagement.
• Champion talent development, coaching, and engagement to build a high-performing workforce.
• Ensure compliance with EHS standards and apply Lean/OpEx methodologies to improve throughput and reduce waste.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure efficient end-to-end ETO execution and smooth design-to-manufacture transition.
• Manage plant P&L, budgets, and performance targets; align with corporate objectives and collaborate across CES network.
