Job summary

Milwaukee Area Technical College seeks qualified part-time culinary instructors to prepare and deliver engaging courses in culinary, baking and hospitality, under the direction of the Dean for Creative Arts, Design & Media. Responsibilities include classroom and laboratory management, curriculum development, student advising, and program evaluation.

Assignments may be in person, online, or hybrid, with work covering days, evenings and weekends to meet student needs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Culinary, Baking, Hospitality.
• 7 years minimum in hospitality roles with teaching experience preferred.
• Must have ServSafe certification with 90%+ passing score.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver instruction in culinary topics.
• Manage classroom and laboratory environments.
• Develop and revise curriculum for courses.
• Advise students and support their educational journey.
• Collaborate with advisory committees and industry partners.
