Job summary

Community Services Group is seeking a Bakery Workskills Instructor to lead individuals in developing job skills and producing baked goods in our Sunbury bakery. The role involves classroom-style instruction and hands-on supervision on the bakery floor, aligned with our trauma-informed care principles.

You will coordinate daily orders, ensure documentation accuracy, monitor quality, and assist with deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency is required.
• 1 year of baking and decorating cakes experience.
• 1 year of vocational rehabilitation experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to drive and accompany individuals in community settings.

Responsibilities

The Bakery Instructor reports directly to the Program Director or designee. This position is part of our Adult Mental Health (MH) Services CSG Bakery which is a vocational training program that assists adults with Behavioral Health Diagnoses and/or Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in developing work skills. The Bakery is a training program and a full scale business that produces baked goods for sale to area restaurants and the general public. It also provides catering for local events and fundraisers for local organizations.
