Community Services Group in Allentown, PA is seeking a Program Supervisor for IDD Community Home Services. The role oversees direct support staff, supports self-determination principles, and coordinates daily operations in residential and community-based programs.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of relevant experience. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are needed for trainings and transporting individuals.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with at least 1 year of experience in programs for individuals with mental illness, intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle for trainings, meetings, and transport.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise direct support staff, including interviewing, hiring, orienting and training.
• Participate in on-call system for Community Homes and Community-Based Programs Supervisors.
• Ensure health, safety and welfare of individuals in the program.
• Develop schedules and routines to promote community participation.
• Coordinate transportation for individuals to appointments and activities.
• Maintain records for inventory and funds; manage petty cash.
• Assist with budgeting for food, supplies, and operations.

The Program Supervisor is responsible for the delegation of work, assignment of duties, completion of tasks of direct support staff and for supporting the principles and values of self-determination, in accordance with Community Services Group policies and applicable regulations. The Program Supervisor reports directly to the Program Manager. This position is part of our IDD Residential Program. Schedule: FT (40 hours)/week with flexibility required.
