Job summary

Aspire Bakeries LLC is seeking a Bakery Trainer I for the Cayce bakery on the 2nd shift. You will develop, deliver, and maintain training programs to build workforce capability and ensure food safety and quality across cookies, muffins, and bread production.

The role emphasizes strengthening skills, closing training gaps, and supporting a safe, efficient, and highly skilled manufacturing team in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience developing, maintaining SOPs and training materials.
• Experience in regulated food manufacturing.
• Strong GMP/HACCP and food safety knowledge.
• Understanding of adult learning principles.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive training programs for new hires and existing staff across production departments.
• Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, work instructions, certifications, and skill matrices.
• Evaluate associate competencies and certify employees on production positions.
• Identify training needs and gaps through audits and assessments.
• Drive continuous improvement using KPI data for safety, quality and productivity.
• Ensure GMP, HACCP, food safety and OSHA compliance in training activities.
