Job summary

Aspire Bakeries in Cayce, SC is seeking a Bakery Trainer - 3rd Shift to develop, deliver, and maintain production training programs across Cookies, Muffins, and Bread.

You will ensure food safety and quality standards, train new hires and associates, and partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Inventory, Warehouse, Operations, and HR to strengthen workforce capability and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience developing, updating SOPs, work instructions, and training materials.
• Experience delivering training in a regulated food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety, and workplace safety requirements.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive training programs for new hires and associates across production departments.
• Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, work instructions, certifications, and skill matrices.
• Evaluate associate competencies and certify employees on production positions.
• Identify training needs and gaps through audits, observations, testing, and assessments.
• Drive continuous improvement using KPI data to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Ensure GMPs, HACCP, food safety and OSHA compliance during training activities.
• Partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Inventory, Warehouse, Operations, and HR to support workforce development.
