Job summary

BakeMark USA in Albany, NY, is seeking a Sales Representative to drive growth across all market channels and grow sales of our baking products and services by following the company’s prescribed strategies and tactics.

The role requires traveling in the local territory about 90–100% with possible overnight travel. Candidates should have sales experience, strong communication, and a customer-service mindset; bakery industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel in local territory 90%–100% of the time
• Experience in sales and closing of sales
• Understanding of the sales process and dynamics
• A commitment to excellent customer service
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Motivated to win business opportunities in a fast-paced environment
• Interpersonal skills to quickly build rapport with customers and suppliers
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and current auto insurance
• Bakery industry experience or route sales experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Grow sales of BakeMark USA’s products and services across all market channels
• Identify and obtain orders to meet customer supply needs
• Travel the local territory 90–100% with possible overnight trips
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships
• Utilize company strategies and tactics to achieve market goals
• Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and communication
• Handle other duties as assigned to reach company goals
