Job summary

SpartanNash in Petoskey, MI is seeking a part-time Bakery Associate to prepare, package, display and stock bakery products. You will follow safety and guest experience guidelines while working independently and as part of a team to support store goals.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, basic math skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret documents; retail experience is preferred. Lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce bakery products.
• Package and label bakery items per program plan.
• Merchandise bakery products per flight plan/merchandising expectations.
• Stock backroom with bakery products and rotate/dating cases.
• Notify Bakery Manager when products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Follow PPE, safety, and food safety guidelines.
• Follow guest experience guidelines.
• May assist other departments as needed.
