Job summary

SpartanNash is hiring for a part-time Bakery Associate at the Benzonia, MI location. The role involves preparing, packaging, labeling, and merchandising bakery products, stocking backroom inventory, and coordinating with the Bakery Manager and other departments to support store growth.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of retail experience, basic math skills, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and Produce Bakery Products to Production Planner.
• Package and Label Bakery Products per program plan.
• Merchandise Bakery Products per Flight plan/Merchandising Expectations.
• Stock Backroom with Bakery Products—Rotating and Dating Cases/Buckets.
• Notify the Bakery Manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Work with other departments and Stores to achieve growth in SpartanNash Retail stores.
