Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Los Angeles seeks a friendly Bakery Team Member to support daily operations, receive and prepare products, stock shelves, and maintain appealing displays. You’ll help ensure product freshness and friendly service on the floor.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep cases and shelves clean, front-faced, and stocked with fresh product.
• Stock shelves and maintain back stock.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste to buyers and leaders.
• Assist with sampling and periodic inventory checks.
• Provide excellent customer service and answer phones.
• Follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Open, mid, closing duties as assigned.
• Report safety hazards immediately.
