Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking entry-level Team Members to ensure fresh, attractive displays and excellent customer service in our Malibu location. You will stock, rotate, and merchandise products while maintaining cleanliness and compliance with safety standards.

You’ll perform opening/closing duties, assist with sampling programs, and support inventory checks. No prior retail experience is required, and a flexible schedule is available to fit nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Keeps cases and shelves clean and well stocked; checks codes; rotates and removes out-of-date products to ensure fresh, appealing displays.
• Stocks and cleans shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers, Team Leaders, and shift supervisor.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program and keeps sample areas full, clean and appealing.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time, groomed and prepared; works all scheduled shifts and attends trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking and merchandising.
• Follows procedures including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary environment; keeps equipment in WFM safety standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing signs are accurate.
• Immediately reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store leadership.
