Job summary

Whole Foods Market in San Diego is seeking a friendly Bakery Team Member to help receive and prepare products, maintain displays, and assist customers with a positive shopping experience.

You will handle stocking, opening/closing duties, and ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards while supporting store programs and initiatives. Strong communication and a passion for natural foods are valued.

Qualifications

• High level customer service and friendly service to customers and Team Members.
• Clear communication and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain clean, organized bakery displays and product quality.
• Knowledge of basics of food safety, sanitation and store procedures.
• Willingness to learn and apply product knowledge and suggestive selling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Keep bakery cases and shelves clean and well stocked, front-faced with fresh products.
• Assist with stocking, display maintenance, and rotation of products.
• Support sampling programs and maintain sample areas.
• Participate in periodic inventory checks as needed.
• Provide courteous service, answer phones, and assist customers promptly.
