Job summary

Whole Foods Market seeks a team member to support the Bakery team by receiving and preparing products, maintaining displays, and selling to customers. You will handle break-down of deliveries, stocking shelves, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to deliver information clearly to customers and Team Members.

Responsibilities

• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Stocks and cleans shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and supervisors.
• Assists with sampling program and inventory checks.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling.
• Preps, stores, rotates, stocks and merchandises products.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
