Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Baltimore seeks a friendly, reliable Team Member to support the Bakery department with receiving, stocking, and displaying products, and assisting customers on the floor. You will help maintain clean displays, rotate stock, and participate in sampling and inventory tasks while upholding WFM standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to sell proactively.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
• Proactively reads labels and familiarizes oneself on various products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fresh, appealing displays by front-facing, rotating, stocking and checking codes.
• Stocks and cleans shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to relevant leaders.
• Assists with sampling program and periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time and completes required trainings and shifts.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
