Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes - Woodmore-Glenarden in the United States seeks an Assistant Bakery Manager to work with the Bakery Manager and team to deliver high-quality cakes and a welcoming guest experience. You will share in leadership, help drive sales and profitability, and ensure daily bakery operations meet NbC standards.

Responsibilities include leading guest engagement, coordinating cake production, training staff, managing inventory, and supporting administrative tasks while upholding safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-5 years of guest-facing experience in retail, restaurant or foodservice, preferably in a lead role.
• Demonstrated success creating a superior guest experience and coaching others.
• Foodservice safety training certificate (i.e. ServSafe).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; comfortable with new tech.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes guest experience and engagement.
• Partners with Bakery Manager in leading guest experience, cake production and merchandising.
• Recruits, trains and coaches team members; directs daily work; provides feedback.
• Ensures product, service, and safety standards are maintained and compliant with NbC policies.
• Assists in scheduling, inventory, payroll and expense controls.
