Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with 2+ years retail grocery experience.
• 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and excellent communication.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the department.
• Able to operate knives and deli equipment safely.
• Stand for up to 8 hours; lift up to 40 lbs.
• Food Handlers permit compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Order and inventory controls, supervise the Bakery team.
• Rotate merchandise and build displays.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure excellent customer service and product quality.
• Unload deliveries and operate deli equipment.
• Ensure safety, health, and sanitation guidelines are followed.
