Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Department, ensuring product quality, safety, and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced store environment in Gilbert, AZ. You will manage daily baking output, supervise staff, schedule shifts, control inventory and budget, and drive sales while upholding Sprouts standards and a focus on healthy living for our customers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 2 years retail grocery experience.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• General housekeeping in the department and sanitation duties.
• Able to stand for long hours and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Food Handlers permit required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily output baking, production, and display of bakery products.
• Supervise and monitor product quality, inventory, and budget for the Bakery Department.
• Evaluate department operations and implement improvements.
• Ensure safety, proper food handling, sanitation, and productivity.
• Handle ordering, receiving, unloading, and storage.
• Rotate merchandise and build displays.
• Plan and order to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate team members; conduct performance reviews.
• Recruit, hire, and promote in collaboration with Store Manager.
• Attend in-store meetings and communicate standards to the team.
• Address team concerns and take corrective actions as needed.
• Create schedules to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Serve as Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed.
• Maintain Sprouts standards across operations.
