Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager in Queen Creek, AZ. You will supervise Bakery Clerks and assist the Bakery Manager in daily operations to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include managing merchandise, ordering, displays, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met while supporting team collaboration and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Outgoing and friendly behavior with the ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to take/deliver directions in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• General housekeeping and sanitation responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays.
• Monitor in-coming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and monitor the quality of Bakery product.
• Unload and sort through store deliveries, operate, and maintain deli equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations.
