Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Waxahachie, TX seeks an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead Bakery Clerks and assist the Bakery Manager in daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service and department productivity. You will help with scheduling, displays, and maintaining product quality.

The role requires at least 2 years of retail grocery experience and supervisory responsibility, with flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' retail grocery experience and 2 years supervisory experience.
• Able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with positive attitude and strong customer interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and monitor the quality of Bakery product.
• Unload and sort through store deliveries, operate, and maintain deli equipment.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and sanitation guidelines/regulations and ensure the Bakery team follows them.
