Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a dedicated Baker to prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts from established recipes, ensuring quality and consistency.

You'll measure, mix, shape, and bake, and decorate items as needed. In a fast-paced bakery, you’ll organize a clean workspace, rotate stock, assist customers with questions, take special orders, and coordinate with teammates to meet daily production needs.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills to provide friendly, timely, and helpful service.
• Experience preparing breads, pastries, and desserts using recipes and techniques.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain quality and presentation.
• Prioritizing tasks and production schedules to keep a clean, organized workspace.
• Familiarity with proper food handling, sanitation practices and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and with others to drive daily bakery operations.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing production needs.
• Ability to safely operate mixers, ovens, and bakery equipment.
