Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. bakery team is hiring a Baker to prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts using established recipes. You’ll measure, mix, shape, and bake products, decorate items, and ensure consistent quality across all offerings.

You will maintain a clean, safe workspace, rotate ingredients, and display products attractively in cases. You’ll interact with customers, answer questions, take special orders, and help create a positive shopping experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior baking or food production experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items as needed.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts following established recipes.
• Decorate cakes and specialty desserts and ensure consistent quality.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area; rotate and label ingredients.
• Assist customers with product questions and take special orders.
• Partner with bakery team to plan daily production and ensure cases are stocked and visually appealing.
