Responsibilities

• Keep bakery department stocked and appealing; greet customers and assist with questions.
• Take customer orders over the phone or in person for size, flavor, and appearance.
• Set up special-order tables during peak hours and build displays; may write on cakes.
• Ensure merchandise is fresh, properly priced, and labeled with correct signage.
• Assist with production of breads, pastries and other baked goods; follow recipes.
• Maintain sanitation; follow cleaning schedules and health/OSHA guidelines.
