Responsibilities

• Keeps bakery department stocked and appealing; greets customers and answers questions.
• Takes orders over the phone or in store with a positive attitude.
• Sets up special-order tables and builds displays; writes on cakes if needed.
• Ensures merchandise is fresh, properly priced and labeled.
• Assists with baking production and uses approved recipes.
• Maintains sanitation and cleanliness per schedules and health standards.
• Assists with receiving deliveries and stocking; trained on equipment.
• Helps minimize shrink and damages; reports variances.
• Cooperates with team to ensure smooth department operations.
• Uses PPE as required; may assist other departments.
