Qualifications

• Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to greet customers and assist with questions.

Responsibilities

• Keep bakery department stocked and appealing to meet customer demand.
• Take orders over the phone or in person and assist customers with selections.
• Set up special-order tables and bakery displays; write on cakes when needed.
• Ensure merchandise is fresh, priced correctly, and properly signed.
• Assist with production of breads and pastries following production logs.
• Maintain sanitation and comply with health and OSHA requirements.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and stock handling.
• Assist with baling cardboard and related duties.
• Help minimize shrink and report shortages.
• Collaborate with coworkers to ensure smooth department operations.
• Use PPE provided.
• May assist in other departments.
