Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in New Ulm, MN is seeking a kitchen helper to prepare menu items, maintain cleanliness, and support the kitchen team. You will work under the Kitchen Manager or Manager on Duty to ensure guest satisfaction and food quality.

This role requires adherence to recipes, proper food handling, and collaboration with both kitchen and front-of-house staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic skills such as sanitation, safety, and customer service can be taught through in house training.

Responsibilities

• Prepares cooking items according to recipes and standards.
• Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen, prep areas, coolers and storage areas.
• Cleans all equipment on line and other areas as directed by the Kitchen Manager or Manager on duty.
• Assists team members and front of house staff with cleanliness and guest service.
• Follows proper safety procedures regarding food handling, rotation and storage.
