Job summary

Qualifications

• Food safety and sanitation knowledge provided through in-house training.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic for orders and costs.
• Teamwork and guest service focus to support kitchen and dining room.

Responsibilities

• Prepares menu items according to company policies and performance standards.
• Maintains food costs and keeps the kitchen clean at all times.
• Follows recipes and ensures correct portioning and cooking times.
• Operates, cleans, and maintains kitchen equipment and prep areas.
• Stocks and rotates products in line with FIFO and shelf-life standards.
• Adheres to food safety, sanitation policies, and health department rules.
• Communicates with Kitchen Manager or Manager on Duty regarding issues.
