Job summary

King’s Hawaiian in Torrance, CA is seeking a Production Foreman to lead the bag dump, mixing, makeup and oven areas, ensuring safety, quality, and on‑time production.

You will own the line performance, make real‑time decisions to improve workflow, monitor production data, train team members, and drive continuous improvement in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment. The role may require off‑shift and weekend work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing production environment.
• 1-3 years of experience managing production lines.
• Food industry experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate orally in English.
• Ability to speak effectively in individual and group settings.
• Ability to add, subtract, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• SAP, Redzone and WinSPC knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own production line performance and drive efficiency.
• Make real-time decisions and implement changes to support workflow.
• Update production data and process documentation accurately and promptly.
• Monitor and support production activities using required systems.
• Manage line priorities, resources, and time to meet targets.

• Support skill development and performance improvement in the team.

• Lead pre-shift safety meetings and trainings; ensure GMP compliance.
