Job summary

King’s Hawaiian seeks an operator for the packaging line responsible for setup, quality checks, and documenting processes to support on-time production. You will troubleshoot equipment, reduce waste, and ensure compliance with GMP and HACCP standards.

You will work with foremen and supervisors to maintain product quality, safety, and efficiency, performing sanitation and line changes as needed and communicating issues promptly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate orally and fill out production and quality assurance reports in English.
• Microsoft Word, Excel and SharePoint proficient.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to meet quality, cost and production schedules.
• Track product and packaging flow from bagger line to ensure material availability.
• Interpret process specifications to ensure product and packaging meet quality standards.
• Lead line changeovers and set up equipment to specified settings while meeting safety requirements.
• Document data into QA forms and SPC system, and record waste and downtime data in Redzone.
