Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. in Rocky Mount, NC, is hiring Production Supervisors for its bakery operation. Lead a team of 15–25 production employees across first, second, and third shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality products while meeting production goals.

This hands-on leadership role offers room for growth within an established supervisory team. You will drive daily production activities, coach staff, uphold GMPs, and collaborate with maintenance and quality to resolve issues and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Production supervisory experience in food manufacturing; bakery or frozen food experience is especially relevant.
• Demonstrated ability to lead employees, manage performance, and build accountability.
• Working knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work the assigned shift and support production scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
