Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking a Bakery Team Member responsible for preparing, decorating, and stocking breads and pastries.

You will handle doughs, cakes, pies, and bars, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong teamwork, reliable attendance, and the ability to train others on production methods. Flexibility for shifts and holidays is expected, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and quality

Qualifications

• Knowledge of artisan breads and pastries, including cake decorating.
• Demonstrates positive attitude, energy, and passion for baking.
• Strong to excellent communication skills; team player.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to meet customer service expectations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality breads and pastries.
• Bakes, cools, wraps, and labels products.
• Stocks dry products.
• Develops new recipes and production techniques for seasonal variance.
• Trains production personnel to high standards.
• Performs production planning for events and holidays.
• Maintains all production modules in the Datapax system.
• Arrives on time; engages with customers and teammates.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintains a clean, safe work and shopping environment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
