Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking entry-level Team Members for our Beverly bakery department. You will prepare, bake, decorate, and stock breads and pastries, ensuring quality and freshness while delivering excellent customer service.

You’ll assist with production planning for specials and holidays, maintain Datapax records, and uphold health and safety standards. Strong communication, a passion for natural foods, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of artisan breads and pastries; cake decorating experience preferred.
• Proactive, customer-service oriented with a positive attitude.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to use store systems (Datapax).
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities; able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality breads and pastries.
• Bake, cool, wrap, and label products.
• Stock dry products and merchandise effectively.
• Develop new recipes and production techniques for seasonal variance.
• Train production staff to high standards; handle production planning for events.
• Maintain all production modules in the Datapax system.
• Provide excellent customer service and upsell appropriately.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards.
