Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking team members to join the bakery production and counter service area in Redmond. You will prepare breads and pastries, bake, wrap, label, and stock products while delivering friendly customer service.

You’ll help with recipe development and seasonal production, and train others to meet high standards. Flexibility is required to cover shifts, including evenings and weekends, with a focus on safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Stand/walk 6-8 hours per day.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality breads and pastries.
• Produces doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, pies, and bars.
• Performs baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products.
• Stocks dry products.
• Develops new recipes and production techniques for seasonal variance and high productivity.
• Trains production personnel to high standards.
