Job summary

Aspire Bakeries LLC in Swedesboro, NJ is seeking an Operator 1 to support production equipment and ensure smooth workflow on the bakery line. The role emphasizes material handling, process monitoring, and maintaining cleanliness while upholding safety and GMP standards.

You’ll work the 2nd shift from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, with weekend availability, and qualify with a High School diploma. The company offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities as part of a diverse and supportive team

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math and problem-solving skills; clear English communication.
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Flexibility to work various shifts as assigned.

Responsibilities

Support setup and operation of production equipment under supervision.
Monitor product flow and report irregularities to Operator 3 or Supervisor.
Maintain raw material supply on the line as directed.
Ensure cleanliness and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
Assist with equipment start-up and shutdown procedures.
Perform basic checks on product quality and report deviations immediately.
Follow GMP and Health & Safety guidelines, including PPE usage.
Document issues or observations in the production log.
Report unsafe conditions, equipment malfunctions, or contamination risks promptly.
Participate in team communication and continuous improvement activities.
