Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a production operator to contribute to all phases of the production process, including operating automated equipment, diagnosing machinery issues, and assisting with preventive maintenance and sanitation.

Flexibility to rotate between SCALER/DIVIDER, WRAPPING, and PALLETIZER roles is expected, ensuring product safety and quality at all times. The role requires at least two years of bakery or production experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Two years related bakery or production experience.
• High school diploma or equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Check production work schedules for job assignment and reporting time.
• When job assignment is SCALER/DIVIDER OPERATOR, check and maintain production schedule; scale ingredients; load, operate and unload mixer(s).
• Operate dough pump and check posted scaling weights and equipment standards.
• Adjust and operate one pocket and six pocket dividers; adjust and operate rounder.
• Adjust and operate overhead proofer; perform start-up/shut down sanitation and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure work area is clean and organized; perform other duties as directed by supervision.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, etc.).
• When assignment is WRAPPING OPERATOR, set and operate slicer, bagger, tier equipment; perform quality control inspections.
