Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Tyler, TX is seeking a Production Operator to contribute to all phases of the bakery production process, including operating automated equipment, diagnosing machinery, assisting with preventive maintenance, and ensuring a safe, clean work area.

The role rotates among SCALER/DIVIDER OPERATOR, WRAPPING OPERATOR, and PALLETIZER duties. Requires a high school diploma and at least two years of bakery or production experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of bakery or production experience.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Check production work schedules for job assignment and reporting time.
• Operate and maintain equipment including scalers, dividers, dough pump, slicer, bagger, and tier equipment.
• Perform start-up/shut down sanitation and operator’s preventative maintenance.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Ensure compliance with company policies (EEO, safety, etc.).
