• Ability to safely operate in a manufacturing environment with moving equipment and safety procedures.
• Ability to read, write, understand numbers, follow directions, and complete production records.
• Ability to follow recipes, batch sheets, operating procedures, sanitation requirements, and safety guidelines.
• Ability to troubleshoot routine production issues and adjust equipment or processes.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with the production team.
• Ability to use pallet jacks and forklifts when trained and authorized.
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime as required.
• Physical requirements include standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive tasks in a noisy, humid environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate bakery processing equipment to produce products per QA guidelines.
• Weigh ingredients and mix according to batch sheets.
• Monitor temperatures, moisture, and weights; adjust as needed to maintain quality.
• Inspect products throughout processing and remove nonconforming items.
• Communicate quality concerns and monitor for foreign material.
• Perform routine equipment adjustments and preventive maintenance as applicable.
• Follow sanitation procedures during cleanups and changeovers.
• Maintain accurate production records and material levels.
