Job summary

Raise is seeking a Bakery Production Manager for its Villa Rica, GA site. You will lead a 30-person operations shift on first shift in a 24/7 plant, owning a process area and driving safety, quality, and continuous improvement on ovens, baggers, and case packers.

You’ll develop Supervisors and Operators into proactive problem solvers, manage schedules and headcount, ensure GMPs and PPE compliance, and deliver on production goals while coaching a developing team.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in the food industry.
• Hands-on manufacturing experience in baked goods.
• Five+ years of hands-on management.
• Experience managing 20+ employees and coaching supervisors.
• Strong working knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
• Experience building tactical and strategic plans.
• Experience spotting talent and building teams.
• Local to Villa Rica, GA or within daily commuting distance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and lead the shift.
• Walk floor with purpose and engage leaders throughout the shift.
• Develop Supervisors and Operators into proactive problem solvers.
• Drive lines to meet or beat safe production goals.
• Ensure GMPs and PPE are followed across the area.
• Coordinate start-up, hand-offs, and headcount for timely start-up.
