White Castle in Cincinnati seeks a Production Lead Operator to support the Operations Supervisor and Plant Manager in producing quality baked buns.

The role requires hands-on leadership on the production line, training staff, operating mixers, extruder, packaging, forklift, and using ERP/WMS to track finished goods, with shift hours from 3pm-1am or 10pm-8am; safety and HACCP knowledge strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in baking industry preferred.
• Must know how each piece of equipment operates.
• Good interpersonal and human relations skills with ability to maintain a positive professional demeanor.
• Knowledge of production, sanitation, quality, and safety.
• Good verbal communication and ability to direct and motivate team members.
• Team oriented, able to follow directions and training.

Responsibilities

• Operate mixer to produce dough for buns.
• Operate extruder to produce dough pieces.
• Conduct quality control inspections of production.
• Direct and train production staff.
• Check and set equipment like proof box and oven; adjust dough as needed.
• Train employees to operate machines.
• Ensure dough is properly panned and quality is maintained.
• Operate packaging machines and palletize finished goods.
• Use forklift and ERP system to track finished goods.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety practices.
