Job summary

Cérélia in Whitehall, Ohio, is seeking a Production Operator to operate and monitor high‑speed bakery equipment in a food manufacturing environment, ensuring safe, high‑quality output and adherence to SQF standards.

You will follow standard operating procedures, document observations on startup/shutdown checklists, perform changeovers, and coordinate with maintenance for troubleshooting while supporting continuous improvement and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong reading and math skills with ability to follow written English instructions.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred; food manufacturing a plus.
• Ability to operate machinery and use mobile apps for logs and checklists.

Responsibilities

• Inspects equipment prior to start to ensure safe operation and documents observations.
• Adjusts processing equipment to maintain dough quality according to specs.
• Performs changeovers and end-of-run cleans; logs downtime in CMMS.
• Follows SOPs, supports QA and safety programs, and assists maintenance as needed.
• Operates SAP-based scanners and uses tablets or mobile apps for reporting.
