Job summary

White Castle is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead production and safety at the Bakery. You will supervise bun production, train staff, manage scheduling, and coordinate with management to meet orders while maintaining inventory and compliance with safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years of supervisory experience, familiarity with baking environments, and ability to read meters; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years’ supervisory experience; White Castle experience preferred.
• Experience in baking industry preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA 10 or the ability to complete the compliance class.
• Proficient in reading PH & Color meters and thermometers.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Strong understanding of food safety principles including SQF, HACCP, GMPs, and FDA regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and ERP/WMS.

Responsibilities

• Supervise bun production to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Train and develop production personnel in safety and essential functions.
• Coordinate plant production requirements to complete orders and maintain inventories.
• Maintain inventory control over produced product and raw materials.
• Conduct plant-wide safety meetings and monthly inspections; OSHA compliance.
• Prepare safety inspections, performance appraisals, and corrective actions.
• Operate equipment with knowledge of meters and failure troubleshooting.
