Job summary

Genie Matthews and Associates is seeking a Production Supervisor for a bakery operation. The role oversees 15–25 employees across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, driving safe, high-quality output and meeting production goals.

This hands-on leadership position sits within an established supervisory team with room for growth. You will lead daily activities, coach staff, ensure food safety, monitor performance, and collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in food manufacturing, bakery or frozen foods preferred.
• Ability to manage performance, accountability, and coaching of staff.
• Working knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
