Job summary

Franz Family Bakery in Oregon is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily finished goods manufacturing, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery of products. You will train and lead a team, enforce GMPs and SOPs, monitor HACCP, perform regular quality inspections, manage production paperwork, and work with the Production Manager to optimize throughput and minimize overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising production teams in a food manufacturing setting.
• Ability to train staff and ensure paperwork compliance.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and GMPs/SOPs.
• Ability to read and write technical content.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and ensure policy adherence.
• Train employees and verify production paperwork.
• Enforce safety rules and HACCP reporting.
• Perform quality inspections throughout shift.
• Oversee production to minimize overtime while maintaining quality.
• Ensure equipment calibration and allergen program adherence.
• Supervise and motivate staff; collaborate with managers.
• Investigate operational issues and customer complaints.
