Job summary

Franz Family Bakery is seeking a Production Bun/Bread Foreperson to join our West Jordan team. The role oversees shift production of bread products, ensuring quality and compliance with SQF procedures. You will coordinate with engineering and packaging teams to keep lines running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years leading a production team.
• High School diploma required.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Bakery experience preferred.
• English required; Spanish helpful.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate department activities on the shift to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Set up equipment for start-up and continuous operation.
• Monitor slicing, packaging, and coding to established standards.
• Work with engineering on equipment adjustments to maintain quality and schedules.
• Ensure adequate supply of packaging for smooth production.
• Train employees on safety, quality, cost and service; enforce policy.
