Job summary

Bimbo QSR Chicago LLC in Zanesville, OH is hiring an Assistant Production Supervisor for two baking lines. The role supports production, ensures quality and safety standards, and drives continuous improvements. 1st shift, 8-hour rotations, with holidays and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, coordinating schedules, ensuring GMP/FSMA compliance, and maintaining 5S housekeeping. SAP documentation and cross-functional collaboration are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory experience in production, preferably in the food industry or manufacturing.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of FSMA/BRC and OSHA regulations is advantageous.
• Fluency in English; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce a quality product meeting Safety, FSMA/BRC, and Customer regulations.
• Coach, train and develop associate skills.
• Establish efficient production processes for all product lines.
• Ensure QA and FSMA/BRC compliance.
• Review production schedule with line staff and communicate changes.
• Complete RCAs for safety, downtime, or material loss.
• Ensure recipes, BOMs, labels, tools, and equipment are ready.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and safe work conditions.
• Document production data and confirm entries in SAP.
• Lead LEAN activities and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead and motivate associates to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
