Whole Foods Market is seeking entry-level Team Members in California to support bakery production, counter service, and stocking. You will bake breads and pastries, decorate cakes, and provide friendly service.

Qualifications

• Experience in baking breads and pastries preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and standard procedures.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality breads and pastries.
• Produces doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars.
• Performs baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products.
• Stocks dry products.
• Develops new recipes and production techniques for seasonal variance and high productivity.
• Trains production personnel to high standards.
• Performs production planning and forecasting for events and holidays.
• Maintains all production modules in the Datapax system.
• Delivers courteous customer service and addresses customer needs promptly.
• Maintains proper signs and pricing; reports hazards.
